Trekking in Erg Chebbi dunes

Day 1

We will begin this trekking from your accommodation in the surroundings of the Erg Chebbi where we will pick you up in a 4×4 vehicle that will take us to the SafSaf Oasis, 1km from the border with Algeria and we will begin our march towards the south. We will have lunch in Chnakkir and after the little rest we will continue towards the Tissardmine Oasis, where we will spend the night in a camp.

Day 2

After an early and energetic breakfast, we will depart towards Kemkemía, where we will stop for lunch. We will spend the night in Bouyird.

Day 3

On the third day we will travel from Bouyird to Tamerdanet, stopping for lunch in a nomadic well.

Day 4

The landscape on this day will change drastically: from the hard and cold Hamada (black rock desert) to the great dunes of fine golden sand in the centre of Erg Chebbi. You will have lunch in Galbnas, a mountain with a spectacular panoramic view and you will spend the night in the Oubira Oasis, in the middle of the dunes.

Day 5

In this last day we will travel from the Oubira Oasis to the Ksar of Hassi Labiad, a small village near Merzouga where a 4×4 vehicle will be waiting to take you to your accommodation.
