Fes has always been associated with study and religiosity, and remains the spiritual capital of Morocco. After visiting the medina another option is to walk aimlessly through the streets of Fes-Jdid, where you will find the royal palace, the mellah (Jewish) and the oldest mosque in Fes. The land becomes arid, with spectacular geological formations and deep valleys, such as the Ziz Valley, huge green spots in the middle of the desert.

We will begin to observe adobe architecture, palm trees and some distant Kasbahs, we are at the doors of the desert.
