7 days Morocco itinerary from Casablanca Itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

Today we start our 7 days Morocco itinerary from Casablanca in Morocco and we will explore the best cultural places in Casablanca and morocco desert travel. Our visit to Casablanca will include the visit of the Hassan II Mosque and, after lunch, we will drive towards Meknes, an ancient imperial city.

Our 7-day tour in Morocco will continue with the visit of the Romain Ruins of Volubilis. Then, we will continue towards Fes where we will spend the night in a Riad / Hotel, with dinner and breakfast.

Day 2: Fes (guided tour)

Today we will have a guided tour in Fes and we will discover Fes while walking in the medina. Fes is the oldest imperial city founded by Idriss II. Fes is also the centre of the Arab-Muslim culture.

You can explore the Andalusian mosque, the famous tanneries, the Medersas, and we will also visit the new part of the city. Accommodation in a Riad / Hotel, with dinner and breakfast.

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Rissani – Merzouga (Desert)

Today, after breakfast, we are going to Ifrane, also called as “the Switzerland of Morocco”. We will continue towards Midelt and then, through the Ziz Valley until we reach the town of Erfoud, very famous for its local fossil products.

We will continue our 7 days Morocco itinerary from Casablanca to Rissani to explore its souk. After that our trip will end in Merzouga. Accommodation in an hotel in the desert with dinner and breakfast.

Day 4: Merzouga (Desert) – Khamlia – Merzouga (Desert)

After breakfast, we will explore the desert area of Merzouga visiting the village of Khamlia, famous for its musicians. We will have lunch with nomad people living in the desert. After lunch, we will prepare ourselves to a camel ride through the dunes to explore morocco desert excursions.

Once we arrived at the desert camp, we will explore the desert area, have dinner at the campfire and enjoy traditional Berber dinner. We will spend the night in nomad tents.

Day 5: Merzouga (Desert) – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

Today, early in the morning, the camel guide will wake you up to watch the sunrise in the desert. After that we will ride camels that will take us back to the village. After a shower and breakfast at the Riad, we will head to Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra Gorges, which is the highest and narrowest Gorge in Morocco.

Here we will be able to walk inside the valley, and after lunch, we will continue towards the Dades Valley, where we will enjoy castles of sand and rocky formations called “toes of the monkeys”. We will stay in the Dades Gorges in a local hotel with dinner and breakfast.

Day 6: Dades Gorges – KalaatM’Gouna – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech

Our 7 days Morocco itinerary from Casablanca will continue after breakfast. We will head towards Ouarzazate, through the thousand Kasbahs route. We will stop at KalaatM’Gouna, which is the centre of the Roses Valley and we will visit local cooperative of roses.

Then we will continue our tour through the Ait Benhaddou, Kasbah which has been built by Et Hami El Glaoui in the 19th century. We will also cross Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass (at 2260m altitude) and the High Atlas Mountains until we reach Marrakech.

Day 7: Marrakech (guided tour) – Casablanca

Today we will have a guided visit to the city of Marrakech. You will be able to explore the main attractions and monuments of the city, such as the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, the Kotubia Mosque, souks, palaces and museums.

We will also explore the new part of the city called Gueliz, and the Menara and Majorelle gardens. Then we will continue towards Casablanca.
